[xray] Linux Local Connection problem

But just to double-check, if I start just xray.swf I shouldn't see the
error LocalConnection should I?

I made a simple LSO test. I've attached the files so perhaps you can see
how I'm doing something different to what xray does (see (*) for how
compiled).
Using Flash 8 under wine it fails as the settings don't allow local
storage! But it ignores my changes to those settings :-(. Anyway, that
is nothing to do with xray.
Using the Flash 7 browser plug-in it works. I can even run two versions
of test1.swf in different tabs and in test2.swf I see it alternate
between the counter that each of them is outputting.

Is it possible for xray.swf to detect if another instance is already
running (e.g. by using another LSO) so it can give a better error
message if this is indeed the problem.
But I've made sure it is the only thing running and still get the error.
