[xray] Does it work with zinc applications?

There were some messages on this list a little while back regarding Zinc.
Zinc has been known to block some LocalConnection messages. Although I've
not had any trouble just recently, especially when running in Debug mode.
It's also worth trying the EXE standalone (not launched via the Zinc IDE).
I hope one of these options works for you. One other thing is that Zinc's
synchronous calls do completely block any inter-Flash communication anyway,
simply due to the nature of how synchronous calls are made, but I don't know
if this is affecting your particular scenario or whether you're just getting
no connection at all.
Sorry one more thing, there is a version 2.5.0.9 out, perhaps that will
help, although I do believe there needs to be another 15 releases to add to
the 5 that have already come out since 2.5 just to fix all of the bugs that
crept in with this otherwise wonderful engine re-write... MDM!! :)

Subject: [xray] Does it work with zinc applications?
Hi,
i am new to XRay and i would like to debug my Flash/Zinc Application using
it, but that doesn't seem to work..
It does work with the swf published by Flash, but it does not with an
.exe-file (windows projektor) build with Zinc. XRay cannot connect to the
Zinc-Application.
I am using Flash MX 2004 and Zinc 2.5.0.7.
I saw that the windows XRay interface was made using Zinc, so maybe one of
you has experiences using Zinc.
..and sorry for my broken english.
Bye,
Andreas
