I am really needing it to run when played via the browser. This is because I
have setup javascript that the interface uses to load in the child SWF
files.

I am not at work currently and unable to tell you if the connection string
comes up when just running the interface from within the IDE. As soon as I
can I will get back with you on this specific detail.

No, this project is not using Screens or Forms.
