Rubyamf is an open source application gateway for flash remoting. As the name suggests, the exposed services are written with the wonderful language of Ruby.

Rubyamf comes with a simple WEBrick servlet. The servlet can be used for fast deployments, and is the easiest way to develop a Rubyamf driven Flex or Flash application. By using this servlet it encapsulates RUBYAMF to depend only on itself and Ruby.

You can drop Rubyamf anywhere – run that servlet, and you’ve got Flash remoting ready to go.

Rubyamf supports Flash 8 and 9.
