I work as a software engineer at a multimedia company in the Netherlands called TriMM. My main occupation there for the past few years and years to come is the design and development of an online case-based learning enviroment in Flash for the Police Academy of the Netherlands. The system is called ‘Behrloo’ and there is a small interactive (although not much freedom is allowed) demo. Just log in with your email address and no password. I am the architect and lead programmer on this project’s frontend, and as such responsible for defining everything from the front end architecture to the service architecture and implementation of the core frontend framework to the guidelines and procedures for releasemanagement and content development.
Besides working at TriMM, I founded a small company called NeuroFlasher in which I develop games which can help kids & grownups with ADHD, depressions, etc.
Stuff that gets created outside of these two main occupations, is usually (fantasy) art related, pure hobby, and ends up at my Screatoris page.
Last but not least, I’ve been working on xflas2 a very extensible logger for flash. It has been in alpha for months, but in practice I’ve been using it on projects in production for over a year. It’s pretty stable and it rocks.
In the light of an MTASC strict flash framework I’m working on (including a new reflection package etc) and another tiny critter on its way, the project hasn’t been updated for a while.
Flash issues, bitmap fiddling, and even some serious stuff can be found on my ObjectPainters blog.
